The Isle of Dreams
The Stories & Mysteries of Koholint Island

You feel some thing cold against your cheek, the bouquet of salt water and sand fills your nostrils as your eyes open to see the sharp, piercing gaze of the mid-day sun. You have now found yourself washed upon a foreign shore amongst the wreckage of what appears to be a crashed ship. Planks and barrels adorn the crystal sands around you as you try and take in your situation, unsure of how it is that you've come to be in such a sad state of affairs.

It is then, as you turn around, you finally see it. Your eyes must be playing tricks upon you, this has to be a dream, right..?

A giant egg looms high above you in the distance, perched atop a lone mountain, as if placed there purposefully. You can see it clearly, as clear as the open blue sky above it and you. How is it that you got here? Just where is “here”? Is this really happening, or are you simply stuck in some sort of dream?

The real question you should be asking yourself isn’t if this is a dream or not, but rather, just whose dream is it?

The Isle of Dreams is a pan-fandom Dreamwidth Roleplaying game, set in and inspired by the world of The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening. Players will experience shifts in tone, genre, setting, and more, as they try to survive and seek out answers as to what the island truly is, and who is in control of not only their own fates, but the fate of the island itself.
